It also aims to produce graduates who can become entrepreneurs in the cosmetics and beauty industry. This programme is not limited to the application and use of makeup, but rather focuses on the formulation of cosmetic products (lotion, skincare, hair products, oral products, colour cosmetics etc). Students will also be exposed to safety and health guidelines set by domestic and international regulations.

This programme is ideal for students who want to go into the cosmetics industry, or those who want to develop their products, and open up their businesses.

Students will be lectured in small groups depending on the intake and lectures are done in an interactive way. During each class, lecturers will provide engaging questions for students to increase their understanding of the topic. Students will also be supplemented with tutorials to further strengthen their understanding on the fundamental basis of cosmetics.

Apart from that, the students will have hands-on experience formulating their cosmetics products such as lipsticks, lip balms, coloured foundations, skin balms, skin lotion, hair shampoos and many more.
