INTRODUCTION PROGRAM :

This programme prepares students in various pharmaceutical fields, including exposure to military pharmacy as well as pharmacy management in disaster and humanitarian relief situations. Students are placed at hospitals and clinics under the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Defense for training and practical attachments. Students will also have access to community pharmacies and pharmaceutical industries during their studies. There is also vast opportunities to further develop strong interpersonal skills and holistic attitude through many activities organised by our student bodies and activities with our local and international networking partners.

Course Description:
UoC’s Bachelor of Pharmacy (Hons.) is a four-year (eight semesters) degree programme that trains students to become competent pharmacists who are well-versed in all main areas of pharmacy practice. The programme is designed to produce pharmacists with updated knowledge, desired interpersonal skills and holistic approaches in the provision of pharmaceutical care.

Course Training and Practical:
Students will be exposed to various laboratories sessions, field and simulated exercises, visits, industrial training at pharmaceutical companies, attachment at community pharmacies and at designated Ministry of Health primary care clinics and hospitals.

SUMMARISED ENTRY REQUIREMENTS : 

▶️ STPM/A-Levels Grades BBB, ABC, AAC, or CGPA 3.00 (out of 4.0) in three subjects i.e;
• Biology
• Chemistry; *AND*
• Physics or Mathematics
• with a minimum B in Chemistry

▶️ Foundation In Science (UOC) or equivalent
Minimum CGPA 3.00 including a
minimum B for Chemistry, and provided the course is not less than one (1) year.

*with SPM/O-Level/equivalent
with minimum 5Bs in the following
subjects:

• Biology; and
• Chemistry; and
• Physics; and
• Mathematics or Additional Mathematics; and
• Another subject
