INTRODUCTION PROGRAM :

This programme explores a variety of subjects such as safety & health regulations, construction safety, industrial hygiene, OSH risk management, emergency response plan and accident investigation among others. The programme will provide you with a range of theoretical and practical skills to enable you to practice across a range of industries and environments.

With this degree in hand, employment in the OSH field becomes more promising due to the shortage of OSH experts especially in the manufacturing, construction, oil and gas industries.

Course Description:
The Bachelor of Occupational Safety and Health (Hons) is a three-year course that provides deeper knowledge on Occupational Safety and Health in an effort to protect workers from hazards at the workplace. Students will explore a variety of subjects related to this field such as safety & health regulations, construction safety, industrial hygiene, OSH risk management, emergency response plan and accident investigation among others.

SUMMARISED ENTRY REQUIREMENTS : 

▶️ STPM / A-level
Pass with GPA 2.33 or Grade D in 2 of the following subjects;
• Biology
• Physics / Mathematics
• Chemistry

▶️UOC Foundation or other equivalent programme
Pass with CGPA 2.00* and pass in English and credits in Mathematics and ONE Science subject (Biology/Chemistry/Physics/General Science) at SPM or Equivalent

▶️Diploma in Related Field
Diploma (Level 4, MQF) / Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia (DKM) / Diploma Vokasional Malaysia (DVM)
• Pass with at least a CGPA of 2.00*

_or any other relevant qualification recognised by the Malaysian Government acceptable to the University._
